1) PERSONAL USE
Seven Habits # 1 is Personal use, A Highly Effective Leaders needs to be your best customer. Develop belief in the products by committing to use each daily. This is a business of duplication. Your team will do what you do, so start by using the product. We highly recommend autoship to maximize your earning potential.
2) SHARE THE PRODUCT & OPPORTUNITY
Seven Habits # 2 is Share. Set a goal to be a Go-Getter.
The Go getter Program is designed to keep your business growing by focusing your efforts one day, week, and month at a time. By striving to be a go getter each month, you will naturally develop the momentum to put a team in place to change ranks and make more money. As a Highly Effective Leaders you will be commitment to become a “Go Getter.”
1.Be on Autoship
2.Read 15 Minutes per day and/or listen to 15 minutes of a personal development CD.
3. Attend all events in your area.
4. Contact / prospect 2 people a day
5. Share the product and/or opportunity at least 12 times per month.
6. Participate in the team and company conference calls.
Your business can not grow until you share the product and opportunity with others. We strongly recommend bringing your active upline to share the product or opportunity until you are comfortable.
Three Ways to Share your business with others.
a. I.T.S. (Invite, Taste, Share)
Drop-off a sample pack of your product as a gift with a brochure. Call in 24 to 48 hours to see if the person is interested in learning more.
b. One-on-One
Sit down with a prospect, show them a presentation.
c. Invite to a Home meeting or Open Opportunity Meeting.
This is best used as a follow-up or second look, but you can easily introduce the product or business to others by inviting them to a local tasting party or Open meeting.
3) COMMIT TO PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
Seven habits # 3 is Personal development is essential to grow this business! A Highly Effective Leaders must learn to read and listen to books and CDs to develop a positive mental attitude. Leaders are readers and you must understand that what got you here will not get you where you are going. Personal development will build your confidence and your ability to understand and relate to others.
4) PLUG INTO THE TEAM
Seven habits # 4 is plug into the team. This is a business of duplication. A Highly Effective Leaders must learn to do what your successful upline does and teach your team to do the same. While a strong-willed attitude can get you far in life, it will not help you build a sustainable network marketing organization. For this reason, you need to plug into your uplines system and you must be teachable. You will learn as you go. Learning from those that went before you is the best and cheapest way to learn. The best way through a mine field is to follow in someone’s footsteps. Your upline has paved the way. All you have to do is have faith and trust in the system. Then, do the work, show-up, and encourage your team to do the same.
5) The DREAM
Seven habits # 5 is DREAM Many of us forget to dream as we get older. Mortgage payments and credit card bills have a tendency to do that. It’s time to take your dreams off the shelf. You must learn to dream again if you hope to live the life you’re destined and be a Highly Effective Leaders . Dream a big dream, not a small dream. The worst thing that can happen is a small dream comes true. Put your dreams in front of you and build a dream board. Your dreams will fuel you to accomplish your goals.
6) SET GOALS
Seven habits # 6 Goals are the road-map to your dreams. Without goals you don’t know where you will end up. A Highly Effective Leaders will Set daily, weekly, monthly, three month, six month, one year, and three year goals. Commit to your daily goals. Be patient and give your dreams time to materialize. Remember: A goal without a date is just a dream.
7) WORK
Seven habits # 7 Luck is spelled W-O-R-K. This is your future you hold in your hands. You have the ability to change your life and the lives of many others, but you have to work for it.
Along your journey to being a Highly Effective Leaders, remember you can only control two things:
1) Your ability to get better (through listening to CDs & Reading).
2) How many people you talk to each day, week, month, and year.
8) SORT
Seven habits # + 1 SORT. You get paid to sort – not convince! Sort through prospects to find those that are ready to sign-up. Do not convince those that are not ready. This is not a matter of “closing the sale.” If you convince them into the business, you’ll convince them every step of the way. You will sort through your sign-ups to find your business builders. Finally, sort through your business builders to find those that are ready to be a Highly Effective Leaders !
9) ATTITUDE
Seven habits # + 2 is ATTITUDE. It’s absolutely vital to develop a positive mental attitude to become a Highly Effective Leaders. People do not want to be led by those who are negative. They are looking for a positive influence on their life. Make a decision to develop a positive mindset and become the best you!
Remember 95% of the population will end up dead, broke, or still working by the age of 65. If you want to be part of the 5% that are financially successful at age 65, you need to do the opposite of what everyone else is doing.
10) FIND AN UPLINE MENTOR
Seven habits # + 3. Find a mentor that has achieved the level you desire. Counsel with them frequently. Ask your upline to put you in touch with trustworthy individuals.
A Highly Effective Leaders will attract other Highly Effective Leaders to them.
