National Women’s Day

National Women’s Day Thank you to all the women of the world

International Women’s Day was originally called International Working Women’s Day and is recognized on March 8 every year. National Women’s Day was observed on 28 February 1909 for the first time in the United States. In August 1910, an International Women’s Conference was. The focus of the celebrations ranges from celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women to a celebration for women’s economic, political and social achievements.

Started as a Socialist political event, the holiday blended in the culture of many countries, primarily Eastern Europe, Russia, and the former Soviet bloc. In many regions, the day lost its political flavour, and became simply an occasion for men to express their love for women in a way somewhat similar to a mixture of Mother’s Day and St Valentine’s Day. In other regions, however, the original political and human rights theme designated by the United Nations runs strong and political and social awareness of the struggles of women worldwide are brought out and examined in a hopeful manner.

National Women’s Day

International Women’s Day is a day to be celebrated.

I have been blessed to be influenced by many powerful and influential women. Women have such a powerful influence on all our lives. Women are powerful leaders in the home and in business. So on this International Women’s Day I would like to say thank you to all the women of the world and for all they do, many unacknowledged and unrewarded. To all the women of the military, the women in the business arena, the women that were beaten and battered and un-respected and most of all too all the woman that love their children and care for their family. To my mother Linda Eve St.Louis and my wife Kari Ann St.Louis
