Success in Business and at the Gym

How my gym experience gave me Success in Business and at the Gym

I wanted to share with you guys a little bit of business principle and actually Success in Business and at the GymHealth principal too. I got to the gym this morning and I get on the elliptical like I do every morning. I actually took the weekend off, but I got on the elliptical this morning and my legs are burning I have a bad knee and it start of hurt and I looked down at the clock and I’d only been on it 3 and a half minutes. I’m like oh crap I’m not going to get much accomplished today at all. I normally do 30 minutes but today I set my goal to 15 minutes because of my discomfort. Normally I like to push myself to accomplish what I want to accomplish in business and health. I don’t like to go to the gym but I go because I like the results and in businesses I push myself because I want the results not because it’s fun,  any way I ended up doing over 30 minutes on the elliptical.

Whats more important is what I did when I start feeling the burn I started working harder. I went faster and faster and faster. In the 30 minutes I actually went further on the mile gauge then I normally do, in fact it’s the farthest I have ever done in 30 minutes. When I started today after three and a half minutes I was ready to quit. My legs where burning my arms where burning I was huffing and puffing and I wanted to quit. But I did my 30 minutes and then some. Business is like this as well. I don’t like going to the gym. I go for my health. In business I don’t feel like making those calls, I don’t feel like going out there doing the prospect or doing what needs to be done. You know when we get that way we just don’t feel like it today that’s the time you want to work harder pick up that phone and just start dialing and hit send. multilevel marketingMake as many calls as you can as fast as you can. Get the activity going. Or go out and say hello to 10 people as fast as you can. Put yourself in a place to get it over with quick and you’ll feel much better about yourself. Like your muscles your business muscles are the same way the more you do the better you get and the easier it becomes. And in the gym the more you’re able to do. The longer distance you’re able to go in the same way with business the more you push yourself for success to do the things you don’t want to do the more you do. But the more you allow yourself to wimp out and quit and not do what needs to be done the easier it is next time to quit. Quitting becomes a habit. The more you push yourself it builds confidence and you do more and accomplish more in the activities you do. Confidence creates activity and activity creates accomplishments and accomplishments creates more self-confident it’s a circle of success.

Success in Business and the GymBut the point is that I did more because I pushed myself to accomplish what I set out to do and when I do, I feel better about myself. Businesses is the same way. Don’t let your lack of desire to allow you to wimp out because it becomes easier to wimp out next time in business and at the gym. I don’t like to go to the gym. I have never been a gym person. I’m going to gym because I have grand babies and I want to see my grand babies grow up. I want to be around longer for my wife, my children and grandchildren. Why do I make those calls when I don’t want to? Why do I make cold calls when I don’t want to? Why do I go out there prospecting? Why do I go out there and build a business that is not fun to build? Because I want the results! I want the results of the Financial Freedom that it gives me. Don’t let yourself be a quitter. Be a man or woman of your word to yourself. Be commitment to yourself and build a big business and get healthy. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones.
